Sometimes I feel like I am the luckiest person alive!
If you’ve never heard it, the word pronoia means the opposite of paranoia. I first heard about it from author/astrologist Rob Brezny, who wrote a book called Pronoia … well, actually the entire title is: Pronoia Is the Antidote for Paranoia: How the Whole World Is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings.
The title pretty much sums up the idea, and he also has something called a Spiral Blessing Spell, which expands on it and turns it into poetry.
I mean, isn’t that so comforting and just life affirming? And I love that this is a spiral! It really touches on the whole conscious spiraling thing I've got going on here!
So, I'll admit, when I'm in the lower spiral, I don’t always believe that this is actually true, but I’m happier when I do believe it. So just for fun today, imagine that it is true … that everything and everyone you encounter is not only for your greater good, but has actually been “cooked up” especially for you. Wouldn’t that be the coolest thing EVER?! Just think how differently we would react to negative situations ... or to random, mundane moments if we believed this. I mean everything would suddenly become magical, wouldn’t it?
See if you can notice interesting little synchronicities or seemingly random things that appear to you today and just decide for yourself that they are signs that the universe is checking in on you, sending you some crazy love… Here are a few of mine:
The numbers 1111
Puffs of lint or cottonwood floating in the air or dust in a ray of sunshine
Finding coins or feathers on the ground
The unexpected appearance of or text or email from a friend when I’m feeling down
Spiral level: Pretty Darn Good, Great
Use when feeling: grateful, inspired, accepting, expectant
