Action Plan:


Feelings can sometimes be mysterious. When asked how you’re feeling, it’s not uncommon to be unsure. Sometimes, we can feel pretty great for the most part, but then there can be an underlying uneasiness, that makes us unsure.


If you’re like me, you vacillate between wanting to deal with this underlying shit and wanting to focus on the good. Both directions are fine, but when we sit in that “undecided space,” it can sometimes make us feel even more uneasy.



So, today, I’m going to give you a choice. Pick a direction below, and go with it. Find a few minutes to yourself and:


Deal with it: Sit down and concentrate on this uneasiness. See if you can tell where you’re feeling it in your body. Does it conjure any images, colors, other feelings when you think about it? Write down whatever you observe. You may get an “aha” moment or you may not. Just listening to yourself is all you need to concentrate on.


Focus on the good: Spend some time marveling at all of the good in your life. Write down 10 things that you’re grateful for – more if you want to. And then really be grateful for them. Sometimes I like to look at each thing that I have written and just say “thank you” out loud. This usually ends up with me crying about it, but, whatever… cries are good for you too!


And let me just point out that your awareness of this weird little space is pretty amazing – not everyone is this attuned to themselves. That is Rock Star Status right there!
